Opening hours
Reception opening times
Our reception is open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Appointment times
To provide patients with as many appointment choices as possible, surgeries are run throughout the day at various times. Please contact the practice to arrange a suitable appointment.
For even greater flexibility of appointments, we now offer an early evening service every Monday up to 8.00pm
Making an appointment
You can make an appointment in person or by telephone. The practice offers a range of appointment options to enable patients to choose one which suit their needs. We offer both pre -bookable (up to two weeks in advance) and same day appointments. In addition, we offer telephone consultations should you feel a face to face consultation is not required and your problem could be dealt with over the telephone. When contacting the practice please inform the reception team which type of appointment you require and we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
Home visits
Our doctors typically see four patients at the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible. However, we may be able to visit you at home if your condition means you cannot attend the practice. Please ring the practice before 10.30 am to ask for a visit. Please be prepared to tell the receptionist about your condition so we can visit the most urgent cases first. The doctor may wish to speak with you to see if it would be better for you to come to the surgery.
Out of hours service
If you need to see a doctor outside normal surgery hours, please telephone the normal practice number – 01274 224 888 – and you will be directed to our emergency on-call doctor service. Alternatively, Local Care Direct provide the out of hours service for the practice and can be contacted direct on 0845 120 7066. A further option is to call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 or consult NHS Direct online at www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk
Please note the practice is no longer responsible for the provision of out of hours services. Any complaints or suggestions in respect of the out of hours service should be directed to Bradford and Airedale NHS.
